These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Learn Vocabulary mobile application (the "App") operated by LearningLearn LLC ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
2. Account
You may create an account using Firebase Authentication (email, Apple ID, or Google sign-in). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. The Service
Learn Vocabulary provides English vocabulary learning tools, including:
- Flashcards with definitions, examples, pronunciations, and translations
- Five types of vocabulary quizzes
- Daily challenges with prize opportunities
- Word collections and categories
- Push notification reminders
- Progress tracking and statistics
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without prior notice.
4. Premium Subscription
Certain features require a Premium subscription. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Payment is charged to your App Store or Play Store account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's account settings
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies
- No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods
5. User Content
You may create custom word collections and personal notes within the App. You retain ownership of any content you create. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and display your content as part of the service.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
- Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the App
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
- Exploit challenges, quizzes, or reward systems through fraudulent means
7. Intellectual Property
The App and its content — including word definitions, examples, illustrations, quiz designs, and user interface — are owned by LearningLearn LLC and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
8. Challenges & Rewards
The App may offer challenges with gift card rewards. Participation is subject to availability. We reserve the right to modify challenge rules, prizes, and eligibility at any time. Any prizes are non-transferable and subject to verification.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Word definitions, translations, and examples are provided for educational purposes and may contain occasional inaccuracies.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LearningLearn LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms, without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time through the App's profile settings. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
